Women In Touch SCV

Women In Touch SCV has been inspiring and educating professional women in our monthly networking breakfasts since 2012. The group started with eight women meeting at Panera in Canyon Country, growing to an average of 40 women per month. Since our expansion to the Antelope Valley, we’ve become the fastest and largest growing women’s networking group in the Santa Clarita and Antelope Valley areas. The Women in Touch monthly breakfasts are for women only, and we do offer coed socials and workshops in Santa Clarita Valley.

Our Ladies Only Breakfast has speakers who share with us, teach, or ask our advice on something they need help with. Many women leave us feeling inspired and looking forward to the next month! Warning this group can be addictive!

This is a fast paced breakfast, and many of us agree, that this is the one event every woman should be at every month!

I spent the last 20 + years in sales/customer service with a focus on print advertising. I’ve worked for or contracted with the Los Angeles Daily News, Santa Clarita Valley Living Magazine, The Santa Clarita Signal, The Antelope Valley Press and The Santa Clarita Gazette. By 2014 my role was the Marketing Director for a hearing aid dispensary in Valencia, and then I started my own Social Media & Marketing Services business, JR Social Conduit.

While building my career, I was able to visit many types of networking events and groups, and in many cases, I felt out of place.  There was a need to create something that connected attendees efficiently to make every new guest feel welcome. I wished for a place that would inspire and educate me, as well as help me when I became stuck in my business efforts while giving me the opportunity to meet other local business owners & entrepreneurs.

The first ladies only breakfast was in February of 2012 when I was still an advertising rep for a newspaper, it was during that breakfast I took ownership of doing what it takes to grow what we called, Women In Touch. Those 8 ladies at the first meeting have grown into an incredible network of many people. Friends told friends and now there’s a whole lot of empowerment going on in 2 cities! It inspires me to watch so many women blossom in their personal lives and businesses since starting these breakfasts. Together we are here to help each other realize the potential within ourselves. Thanks to the support of all who made it possible to become who we are by being involved and bringing more friends.

Women in Touch is a group of women supporting women personally and professionally.
Our goal is to inspire people to embrace one another’s success and learn from our cautionary tales,
giving us the tools we need to create the life & business we deserve.
